Sam Michelle Studio Sessions A full-day oil painting experience in Sams Blind Bight Studio. Sundays 10.30am - 3.30pm Spend the day in my Blind Bight studio for a richly immersive, one-on-one oil painting session. We’ll begin with arranging seasonal flowers to inspire a still life composition. From there, you’ll compose, sketch, and create a complete alla prima oil painting, in one relaxed and guided session. Alla prima is a painting style which means "at first attempt" a painting technique where a painting is completed in one sitting, applying wet paint onto wet paint without waiting for layers to dry. These sessions are structured, personal, and designed to ground you in the beauty of making something from life. Session Includes: A 5 hour one-on-one (or small group) experience Fresh flowers + still life setup Sketching and composition guidance Colour mixing techniques All materials supplied: canvas (30x30 or 30x40 cm) and use of oil paints, brushes, mediums, and studio tools Light lunch, coffee, tea, and snacks You are welcome to bring your own oil paints and I can help you discover their usefulness. Booking Options: One-on-One Session – $500 Bring a Friend (2 people) – $900 Group of Three – $1350 Paypal pay in 4 & Afterpay available option available at checkout Suited more for beginners. Cancellation Policy
Studio Session Terms & Conditions Location All sessions are held at Sam Michelle’s studio in Blind Bight, VIC. The exact address will be provided upon booking confirmation. Inclusions Your session fee includes: - All materials provided for use (paints, brushes, mediums, tools). Canvas options are 30x30cm or 30x40cm and will be pre-primed by Sam. - A structured painting experience (flower arranging, still life setup, alla prima oil painting) - Use of easel & and studio facilities - Light lunch, coffee, tea, and snacks What to Bring Just yourself and clothes you don’t mind getting a bit of paint on! Everything else is provided. If there is something particular you want to paint, please let me know prior to your session and we can absolutely paint it. Payment Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your spot. Afterpay available at checkout. Cancellations & Refunds Due to the preparation involved in each session (materials, food, flowers), cancellations made less than 4 days before your session are non-refundable, but you can reschedule. If you need to reschedule, please contact me and we will work out a new date. Minimum Numbers If you book a 2- or 3-person session, you are responsible for filling those spots. Health & Safety Please let me know of any dietary requirements or allergies at the time of booking. The studio is a working creative space with art materials and occasional solvents used. If you have sensitivities, feel free to reach out ahead of time for more info. Photography & Sharing I may take photos during your session (with your permission) to document the process and promote future sessions. You’re very welcome to take photos and share your experience too—just tag @sammichellestudio so I can see and share! Age Limit These sessions are designed for teenagers & adults.
